Short profile

With over 30 years of international experience in innovation management, product management, marketing and sales in the fields of life science, molecular diagnostics, medical technology and analytical services, I am a true industry expert.

In the last year and a half, as Managing Director of TUM Venture Lab Healthcare in Munich, I have supported over 50 start-ups in the fields of biopharma, life science, medtech and digital health from the early stages to financing and made a significant contribution to their success.

Prior to that, I managed service laboratories for food and feed analysis and was responsible for the profit and loss statements of several business units. In doing so, I not only managed budgets and resources, but also developed and successfully implemented innovative strategies.

I have initiated change processes such as the liquidation of a business unit and improved service and quality while reducing costs by optimising production processes. My market observations and competitor analyses have helped to open up new business areas and strengthen existing ones.

My expertise also includes the evaluation and development of innovation fields such as digitalisation and automation.

I have motivated and developed managers and their teams through clear target agreements and competency profiles.

Quality management and sustainability are not just empty words for me, but rather part of my daily practice.
